As part of its continuous efforts to establish a solid academic environment and keep pace with the latest research developments, the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women hosted the scientific workshop entitled “Designing Biodegradable Small Molecules”, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center.

The workshop was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Noor Al-Dabbagh.

The workshop was presented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Nafisa Qurbanali and targeted the faculty members of the college. It addressed advanced scientific topics related to the design of small molecules with biodegradable properties and their role in the development of modern pharmaceutical industries, in line with contemporary scientific trends toward sustainability and innovation in the pharmaceutical field.

The workshop also served as a rich platform for exchanging expertise and strengthening research perspectives, contributing to the advancement of academic and scientific standards, and reflecting the college’s commitment to building an effective scientific system that keeps pace with the rapid developments in pharmaceutical sciences.
