Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif, the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Optimal Water Use in the University Environment.” This initiative comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and strengthen the concepts of sustainability within the university campus.
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lect. Ali Shakir Abd and Asst. Lect. Sahar Salih Abd, who presented specialized topics focusing on mechanisms for rationalizing water consumption within the university environment and the importance of managing water resources efficiently. They also discussed the major challenges associated with water waste and proposed practical solutions that contribute to reducing unnecessary consumption.
This activity falls within the college’s broader vision of establishing a culture of environmental awareness and supporting scientific initiatives that reinforce the educational institution’s responsibility toward society and natural resources.
