Female Engineering Students Achieve National Success in the “Information Bank” Competition
Female students from the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Zahraa University for Women achieved a distinguished national accomplishment after participating, alongside the university’s Student Activities Department, in the national “Information Bank” competition. The university team secured eighth place across Iraq among 58 participating public and private universities from various provinces, during the competition hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University.
This achievement came after four highly competitive rounds in a contest that covered a variety of scientific and cultural fields, including engineering, medicine, law, science, and religion. Contestants were required to answer each question within only 20 seconds, enabling the university team to rank among the top eight winning universities in Iraq.

The students’ participation reflected the outstanding academic and intellectual level of the college’s students and their ability to represent the university honorably in national events. It also highlighted the university’s continuous support for scientific and cultural activities and the development of students’ skills.
It is worth noting that the competition was held under the sponsorship of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and supervised by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority / Cultural Affairs Division.
