The university President Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani participated in the coordination meeting regarding preliminary preparations for hosting the "Karbala: Capital of Tolerance" conference. The meeting was hosted by Karbala University under the auspices of its President, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and attended by the Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance under the Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Haider Alwan Al-Saadi, and the Representative of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Musa Jafar Al-Mousawi, alongside several presidents and deans from public and private universities in Holy Karbala. 

The assembly deliberated on the scientific and organizational themes of the conference, as well as cooperation and coordination mechanisms among participating universities and institutions. These efforts aim to secure the success of this landmark intellectual and cultural event in Iraq, highlighting the historical and religious stature of Holy Karbala as an enduring symbol of tolerance and peace.

The meeting featured the presentation of academic and cultural visions that focused on the vital contribution of universities and educational institutions in cementing concepts of tolerance and cultural openness. Attendees emphasized bolstering public awareness within society through scientific activities, cultural functions, and purposeful initiatives that support humanitarian and national values.

The active participation of Al-Zahraa University for Women aligns with its continuous strategy to maintain a vibrant presence in national initiatives and academic events that carry a deep societal impact. This engagement underscores ZUW's role in supporting projects that serve the community and focus on elevating public awareness and advancing knowledge regarding the highest principles of societal coexistence.
