The College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Zahraa University for Women Participates in the Launch of the Iraqi Programmers Association in Karbala

 

The College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women participated in the launch ceremony of the Iraqi Programmers Association in the Holy Karbala Governorate. The university's delegation was headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ghada Abdul Hussein Al-Mulla.

 

The event was held under the patronage of the Governor of Holy Karbala, Dr. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, under the theme: "Digital Karbala... Programmers' Vision Towards a Smart Environment." In his speech, the Governor emphasized the importance of supporting youth talents in programming and technology, considering digital transformation a strategic step toward improving services and building a smart environment capable of keeping pace with modern developments.

 

The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, also stressed the significance of enhancing the university's presence in tech events, encouraging and supporting students to engage in programming and innovation. She noted that this contributes to preparing a workforce capable of meeting labor market demands and digital transformation requirements.

 

The ceremony featured active participation from the college's students, who presented several technical projects and ideas. These contributions showcased their creativity and excellence in engineering and technology disciplines, developed within an academic environment that stimulates innovation and practical skill development.
