As part of the ongoing research activities of the academic staff at the College of Pharmacy, Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Assistant Lecturer Lubna Raad Abdul Ameer has published a scientific paper entitled:
"Revolutionizing Treatment for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer: Harnessing the Power of Exosomal miRNAs for Targeted Therapy"
The study was published in Pathology – Research and Practice, a Q2 Scopus-indexed international journal.
The research explores the role of exosome-derived microRNAs (miRNAs) in advancing targeted therapies for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). It reviews the latest therapeutic approaches that utilize exosomal miRNAs to improve the precision of targeting cancer cells, enhance treatment efficacy, and reduce the adverse effects associated with conventional therapies.
