Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, and with the participation of an elite group of religious and intellectual figures alongside delegations from several Islamic countries, Al-Zahraa University for Women witnessed the launch of the fifth edition of "Nidaa Al-Aqsa International Conference". The event embodied a unified intellectual and religious stance toward the Palestinian cause, recalling the principles of the Hussaini Renaissance in consolidating values of truth, dignity, and supporting the oppressed.

In an opening speech, the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, Mr Hassan Rashid Al-Abaychi, welcomed the participating delegations and figures, expressing pride in hosting this conference, which reflects an established position in supporting just causes. He emphasized that the gathering of these figures in Holy Karbala represents an extension of honourable stances rooted in principles of steadfastness and victory.

He pointed out that holding the conference concurrently with the days of the Arbaeen pilgrimage within the city of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) carries profound significance. Its activities coincide with a march that recalls the values and principles of the Hussaini Renaissance in confronting injustice, renewing connection to the message carried by the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him) in defending truth and upholding the banner of justice.

In conclusion, he noted that the "Nidaa Al-Aqsa" conference represents a space for dialogue on just causes, foremost of which is the cause of Palestine and Holy Jerusalem. He demonstrated that stances supporting the Palestinian people bear witness to the unity of human stance in confronting oppression, praising the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinian people, and noting that standing by their side constitutes a firm moral and human responsibility.

Al-Zahraa University for Women affirms that hosting this international conference aligns with its scientific, intellectual, and humanitarian mission, stemming from its belief in enhancing awareness of crucial issues, primarily the Palestinian cause. It consolidates values of truth, justice, and freedom while inspiring principles of steadfastness from the Hussaini Renaissance, thereby affirming Karbala's status as a launching pad for awareness and supportive stances toward human issues.
