The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women organized a free intensive training program for students preparing to enter their fifth year, aimed at strengthening their scientific knowledge, developing their clinical skills, and bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.

The training included a theoretical component held at the College, featuring a series of intensive scientific lectures designed to review and reinforce students’ knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics. It also included scientific discussions of various clinical cases, helping consolidate students’ knowledge and broaden their understanding of pharmaceutical and clinical practice.

The program also featured a practical clinical component conducted at Sayyida Khadija (peace be upon her) Hospital, where students observed patients and clinical cases in hospital wards and gained practical insight into diagnoses and treatment plans. They also learned about medication administration schedules, methods of use, dosages, and the monitoring of patients’ responses to treatment, enabling them to apply their theoretical knowledge in real clinical settings.

This training program reflects the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to providing students with integrated educational and practical learning opportunities, enhancing their scientific and professional competencies, and preparing future pharmacists to apply their knowledge accurately and responsibly in clinical settings. It also aims to contribute to improving the quality of pharmaceutical care in line with the University’s mission and objectives of developing a generation of pharmacists distinguished by both scientific excellence and humanitarian values.
