Al-Zahraa (PBUH) University Advances Toward Launching Graduate Studies in Artificial Intelligence and Generative Systems Through an Academic Partnership with Sharif University of Technology

Al-Zahraa (PBUH) University for Women held a series of meetings in Tehran, Iran, to advance the procedures for establishing an academic partnership with Sharif University of Technology, paving the way for the launch of a specialized graduate program in Artificial Intelligence and Generative Systems.

The meeting was attended by the President of Al-Zahraa (PBUH) University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaydaa Abdulhussein Al-Mulla, along with the President of Sharif University of Technology, Dr. Masoud Tajrishi, and a number of university officials and academics. Discussions focused on completing the academic and scientific requirements of the partnership and reviewing the necessary procedures to initiate the graduate program.

The visit also included a specialized meeting with the Faculty of Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, during which participants discussed the scientific and academic aspects of the proposed program, as well as mechanisms for cooperation and knowledge exchange in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Generative Systems. These efforts aim to establish an academic program that keeps pace with the rapid advancements in these disciplines.

This initiative follows the approval granted by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to Al-Zahraa (PBUH) University for Women to establish graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence and Generative Systems, reflecting the University’s commitment to introducing high-quality academic programs in emerging scientific and technological fields.

The academic partnership with Sharif University of Technology represents a significant step toward strengthening international academic and research collaboration, benefiting from advanced scientific expertise, expanding cooperation among colleges and academic departments, and promoting the development of joint research projects and academic programs.
