Open Day: The College of Engineering and Information Technology Immerses High School Students in the University Experience

As part of the Open Day activities organized by Al-Zahraa University for Women (peace be upon her), the College of Engineering and Information Technology welcomed female students in their final year of secondary school, along with their families, for an introductory visit aimed at familiarizing them with the university environment and introducing them to the engineering and technology disciplines offered by the College.

The visit included a guided tour of the College’s departments and scientific laboratories, during which the students and their parents learned about the nature of academic study, practical applications, and the available educational facilities. They also met with heads of academic departments, course coordinators, and several faculty members, who provided explanations of the various specializations, their academic and professional fields, and their future career prospects.

This initiative aims to strengthen direct communication with final-year secondary school students and their families, helping them gain a clear understanding of university life and the available engineering and technology pathways. It also supports informed academic decision-making, paving the way for their next step toward the future.
