Al-Zahraa University for Women organised its first festival for people of determination with special needs under the slogan “Together for Empowering People of Determination.” The said event was under the auspices of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Haider Al-Tamimi, Head of the University Education Authority, along with the management of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, the University President.
The festival was attended by a large gathering of guests, administrative staff, academic staff members, and female students, and was held in Umm Abiha Hall at the University’s main campus.
It is significant to point out that the event coincided with the International Day dedicated to this occasion, during which the University mobilised its relevant departments to provide special coverage over a period of three days.
The Departments of English Language and Arabic Language in the Faculty of Education, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Department and female students from the departments, contributed to the festival by participating in a range of activities.
