For the second consecutive day, and as part and parcel of the activities of the Cultural Week marking the fifth anniversary of the establishment of Al-Zahraa University for Women, the Women’s Empowerment Unit organised an awareness seminar.
The Women’s Empowerment Unit at Al-Zahraa University for Women, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, organised an awareness seminar entitled “Legal Frameworks of Moral Violence Against Women.”
The seminar included several activities, most notably an address and lecture delivered by Prof. Dr. Iman Bahiya, Dean of the Faculty of Education, as well as a lecture entitled “Legal Frameworks of Moral Violence Against Women” presented by Asst. Lect. Narmeen Abd Al-Amir, and Lect. Dr. Ghasaq Khalil Ibrahim.
The said event also included the recognition of participants in the Professional Trainer Preparation (TOT) Course organised by the Continuing Education Centre at Al-Zahraa University for Women.
