Under the auspices of the President of Al-Zahra University: (Prof. Dr. Zainab Mulla Al-Sultani, and Dean of the College of Education: Prof. Dr. Iman Bahia) Department of the Arabic Language at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her) for women organized a memorial council commemorating the unforgettable sacrifices of the leaders of the victory over terrorism and the liberation for the motherland . The event was held under the slogan (The Blood of the Martyrs… The Path of the Free), at exactly nine o’clock in the morning Umm Abiha (peace be upon her), auditorium in the premises of the university. The council began with verses from the Holy Quran, succeeded by a valuable speech by Professor Sahar Ayoub, he stated about the personality of the two leaders and their role in liberating many areas in Iraq and Syria, and shed light on some of his jihadi missions against ISIS and paid them tribute by stating that ,”We draw inspiration from their immortal heroism and their enormous sacrifices,they paved paths of determination and it is our duty as good citizens to follow their marked legacies with the help of scientific development which will lead to the overall reconstruction of a strong and prosperous nation ,our nation Iraq”.
