The English Language Department at the Faculty of Education, Al-Zahraa University for Women, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Department, organised an English-language workshop entitled A Second World War Survivor: Anne Frank in Secrecy.

The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lect. Amani Abd Al-Kadhim Abd Al-Ridha, on Tuesday, 31 January 2023, in Al-Kawthar Hall of the Continuing Education Department.

The said workshop explored the life of the German-born writer Anne Frank, whose diary documenting her experiences during the Second World War and the German occupation of the Netherlands has become a significant historical record and has inspired numerous plays and films.
