Based on the directives of the Holy Husayni Shrine and its legal guardian, Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbalai (may his glory last) and his emphasis on the need to pay attention to the means of science and knowledge, including books of all kinds and from the vision of Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women and its endeavor to educate and teach female students, the Central Library Department at Al-Zahraa University (Peace be upon her) for Women organized a scientific visit to the International Book Exhibition of Karbala that held within the activities of the Sixteenth Cultural Martyrdom Festival of Spring, on 3/2/2023. The delegation was headed by the Director of the Central Library ( Hanan Farouk Al-Saadi) and was accompanied by: Director of the Student Activities Department ( Janan Al-Wazni) and the head of the Women’s Empowerment Unit ( M.M. Heba Jawad Salem), Director of the Quality Assurance Department ( M.M. Hawra Karim Al-Hanoun) and a group of female teachers and students. In this regard, the Library’s Director , Hanan Al-Saadi, said : The presidency of Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women always emphasizes the importance of holding such scientific and cultural trips in order to see the titles and available recent publications in the exhibition pavilions. Based on this goal, we toured with the students throughout the exhibition as well as buy some books. At the end, the visit was in the rehab of Imam Hussein host (peace be upon him).
