The University Presidency held a meeting on a detailed presentation on the educational process outcomes for the first semester across its faculties. The meeting took place on Tuesday, 28 March 2023, at the Al-Kawthar Centre for Continuing Education. Additionally, the said event comes in accordance with Al-Zahraa University for Women’s vision of achieving an integrated educational process.

During the meeting, Asst. Lect. Hawra' Kareem Al-Hanoun, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance, presented a semester report on educational quality, aimed at enhancing learning across the University’s scientific departments and faculties. The report focused on several objectives, most notably the development and review of academic curricula.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women; Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Al-Asadi, Vice President for Scientific Affairs; Prof. Dr. Sabeeh Abbas, President of the National Centre for Medical Competency Assessment; Dr. Noor Hatif Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Hassan Hadi Al-Qazzaz, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Techniques; and Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyah, Dean of the Faculty of Education. Along with Dr. Wafa Sahan, Head of the Department of English Language; Dr. Huda Al-Umaidi, Head of the Department of Arabic Language; Dr. Sadiq Halim Al-Murshidi, Head of the Department of Radiography and Sonography; Dr. Nihad Khudhair Al-Ruba'ie, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy; Dr. Farah 'Ammar, Head of the Department of Anaesthesia; in addition to the Quality Assurance Department team and faculty quality assurance coordinators.

Furthermore, discussions focused on curriculum development and review, programme learning outcomes, self-evaluation reports, overall student satisfaction with the educational process, and the evaluation of academic programmes within the Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health and Medical Techniques, and Faculty of Education. Participants also reviewed several key topics, including the academic and administrative handbook for the faculties, standards for research publication and quality assurance, academic staff and student performance, the evaluation form for examination questions, and samples of electronic questionnaires designed for female students.
