Under the auspices of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty organised a three-day training course entitled “Training on Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory Equipment and the Handling of Laboratory Animals.”
The said course was delivered by Asst. Lect. Hajar Ala' Ubaid, Asst. Lect. Fatima Mohammed Saeed, and Asst. Lect. Saja Talib Ahmed from 17–20 April 2023 at the Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory.
The course introduced the correct methods for handling laboratory animals and their use in scientific research and experimental studies using advanced equipment available in the Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory. The training was designed to support fifth-year female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy in conducting their graduation research projects. On the final day, the theoretical content was reinforced through practical applications, followed by an assessment for the participants.
