During his visit today, Al-Hajj Hassan Rashid Al-Abayechi, the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to adhering to transparency standards and ministerial instructions in monitoring the scientific and academic process, particularly during the current final examinations phase.

The tour included reviewing the mechanisms adopted for selecting an exam paper from three models submitted by the course instructors. He emphasised the necessity of strict exam invigilation without negligence, highlighting the essential presence of surveillance cameras in the examination halls.

At the conclusion of the tour, he met with Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, alongside members of the University Council and heads of the examination committees in the three faculties. He further followed up on the mechanisms of stamping the examination booklets in multiple places, on the cover and inside the booklet with approximately three stamps, to prevent any cases of forgery or tampering. Additionally, he reiterated the keenness of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine to strengthen the examination process for its students and maintain the institution's reputation and academic rigour.

It is significant to point out that ZUW, like most Iraqi universities, is witnessing female students from various faculties heading to sit their final examinations amidst a package of logistical and preventative preparations. This coincides with monitoring the performance of female students in the ministerial assessment exam for second-stage female students in the Faculty of Pharmacy, a precedent that is the first of its kind at the University.
