The Presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women participated in the central graduation ceremony of female students from Al-Zahraa Institute for Qur'anic Sciences, affiliated with the General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and headed by Ms Suroor Mahdi. The said event Coincides with the celebrations organised by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine on the auspicious commemoration of Eid Al-Ghadir and the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (PBUH).

The ceremony marked the graduation of a new batch of Iraqi and international female students representing various nationalities, following their completion of intensive studies in Islamic jurisprudence, doctrine, and a range of religious sciences. The programme forms part and parcel of an initiative through which Imam Hussein Holy Shrine seeks to enhance the religious and doctrinal awareness of Muslim women in the contemporary era.

During her address of appreciation to the organisers of the graduation ceremony, Prof. Dr. Zainab Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of ZUW, shed light on the importance of Muslim women fully understanding and embracing the Islamic message in order to confront intellectual challenges targeting their identity and status. She also commended the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine for its achievements in establishing women-centred initiatives dedicated to supporting women and addressing their aspirations across scientific, academic, cultural, and religious fields, including the project of Al-Zahraa Institute for Qur'anic Sciences.
