The Faculty of Medical and Health Technologies at ZUW has commenced its summer training programme as part and parcel of the practical training plan for second- and third-year female students in the Department of Radiological Techniques at the University.
The intensive programme is designed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and provide them with hands-on experience in the use of medical equipment throughout their academic journey, preparing them for future careers within medical and healthcare institutions following graduation.
As part and parcel of the programme, the female students joined clinical training placements at Imam Zain Al-Abidin Hospital and Warith International Cancer Institute. The training activities included familiarisation with a range of diagnostic imaging technologies, including CT scanners, MRI systems, and various radiographic imaging modalities, in addition to radiotherapy equipment.
