With support and backing from the general secretariat of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein and perseverance and guidance by the University President Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, Al-Zahraa University for Women has clearly accomplished major strides forward leading to remarkable progress in the global rankings at the sustainable development classification UIGreenMetric2023. The University ranked 26th among Iraqi universities and 719th globally in the latest version of the classification. The University received an invitation to participate for the first time in all of (Times) classification sets: This invitation and data provision are considered meaningful steps in the right direction towards registration within the resident institution status and cumulative consideration of the University’s data after five annual participations. Moreover, the University participated with three projects in the Korean classification WURI2024. We await the results of this classification next June. Finally, the University was awarded international license by the external audit program and three stars by QS Star Rating institution. It is noteworthy that the University received five stars in this evaluation’s educational process
