Al-Zahraa University for Women has signed the first academic annex to its Memorandum of Understanding with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, further strengthening cooperation between the two institutions in scientific and research fields.
The annex was signed by Prof. Dr. Zainab Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of ZUW. It includes the addition of seven new provisions, most notably the exchange of academic expertise between the Faculties of Pharmacy at both Universities, the organisation of short-term scientific courses, the formation of joint research teams, and the enhancement of cooperation in scientific research and publication.
The annex also covers collaboration in the development and modernisation of laboratory facilities, the completion of the Animal House Project, and other areas of mutual exchange of expertise and institutional experience.
It bears noting that this addition reflects the need of both Universities to broaden the scope of their cooperation following the successful implementation of most provisions of the previously signed agreement, while also keeping pace with developments across various academic disciplines, particularly in the field of pharmacy.
