The Ministerial committee set up by the Scientific Supervision and Remedial Authority with the membership of a number of professors from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited Al-Zahraa University for women. The committee was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadoua, Scientific Assistant to the President of the University along with Prof. Dr. Hawraa Abbas Hassan, Administrative and Financial Assistant. The visit included the establishment of a psychological counseling and educational guidance working group, which visits public universities, private universities and faculties to assess the work conducted by the psychological counseling and educational guidance divisions and units. The committee was briefed during its field visit to the University on the work carried out by its psychological counseling and educational guidance units in practical terms. It took also note of the extent to which all the required conditions and the appropriate environment for students were provided. Furthermore, committee members commended the University on the provision of such essential requirements as classrooms in addition to student supervision by qualified staff well versed in guidance and education as well as social research. The committee expressed its best wishes for all personnel in their endeavors to serve our dear country and our beloved University.
