Under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women, and in cooperation with Breast Cancer Center at Lady Khadija Hospital, the University held an awareness campaign on breast cancer in the hall of Um Abiha on 22/10/2024, i.e. during the “pink month” of October. The campaign offered detailed explanation of the disease and its causes, as well as the most important methods of prevention. The campaign also stressed the need for early examination when there is suspicion of infection. A number of university professors and several administrative staff members attended the campaign, in addition to a large number of university female students. The campaign was also covered by satellite channels.
