Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, The President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, along with a high-level delegation consisting of a slew of university professors partook in the first annual Wasit University festival. The aforementioned event dedicated to honor women's creativity. The festival's various activities shed light on the functional role of women in community development and the necessity to enhance their leadership skills. During the event, art and literature exhibitions also meant to emphasize women's roles and their creativeness across various disciplines. The attendees celebrated the women who have overcome adversity and climbed to the top. It is noteworthy that the University's President was honored as a notable example of a successful woman who established a feminist academic scientific premise, the first of its kind in Iraq.
