Click here A Quranic program was organized by Dar Al-Quranul-Kareem as part and parcel of the World Quran Day celebrations. The event, which was titled “The Influential Quranic Model”, was carried out under the aegis of General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and in cooperation with Quranic Memorization Unit at Al-Zahraa University. The program featured a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an address delivered by Prof. Dr. Zainab Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President. In her speech Dr. Al-Sultani, managed to shed light on the profound significance of the holy Quran as a guiding force for the Muslim community. She also underscored the necessity of returning to its teachings as a source of strength and empowerment. The event also included a series of lectures, Quranic activities, as well as poetry recitations commemorating the Prophet’s divine mission (Al-Mab’ath Al-Nabawi). Additionally, certificates of appreciation were awarded to female Quran memorizers and academic staff members in recognition of their unwavering dedication to Quranic studies. It bears to note that these initiatives reflect the ongoing endeavors being deployed by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine to highlight the greatness of the Quranic message, disseminate its teachings, and heighten cultural and intellectual awareness on both local and international levels.
