Physiotherapy Department at the Health and Medical Technologies Faculty held a graduation ceremony for its fourth-year female students in recognition of their achievements and commitment throughout a remarkable academic pursuit. The said event was held under the aegis of the General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of the University.
In her address, Dr. Al-Sultani congratulated the female graduates on this milestone, expressing her pride in their devotion to the pursuit of knowledge and the noble responsibility it entails. She further commended Faculty staff members on their sincere efforts and acknowledged female graduates’ outstanding performance among the Health faculties in both public and private universities. The President also extended her appreciation to female students’ families and the Department’s Deanship for the continuous support and contribution to the success of that batch.
Lect. Dr. Ali Jasim Al-Khafaji, Dean of the Faculty, expressed his delight at the significant occasion, affirming the exceptional competence and commitment demonstrated by female graduates. Besides, he extended heartfelt thanks to their families for being a steadfast source of support, and paid tribute to the academic staff for providing female students with knowledge and skills required for their professional pathways.
Dr. Nihad Al-Rubaie, Head of the Physiotherapy Department, hailed the scientific excellence of the batch, highlighting their diligence and perseverance over the years. In addition, he emphasized that those female graduates would serve as exemplary professionals in the job market, ultimately contributing in a meaningful manner to the advancement of both scientific and clinical practice.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of memorabilia graduation certificates and the screening of a video documenting the female students’ academic journey in the Department of Physiotherapy. Furthermore, the female graduates, in turn, expressed their deep gratitude to Faculty members who supported them throughout a journey filled with both challenges and achivements, culminating in well-earned success and pride.
