Department of Dormitory Affairs, through Social Research Division, organized a scientific awareness workshop entitled “The possibility of free time employment and utilization methods” for female students residing in the University Dormitory. The event which was carried out under the patronage of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, took place at the University’s reading hall.

The workshop was led by Asst. Lect. Iman Saleh Ali, who emphasized the significance of time as one of the most valuable resources in female students’ lives and the need to invest it wisely in self-development and skill building. The workshop covered a variety of topics related to time management and included practical ideas for making effective use of free time.

The event witnessed notable engagement from female students, one participant commented, “The workshop rekindled my enthusiasm and made me realize how many moments can be truly valuable when used correctly.”

The primary objective of the session was to instill a culture of time awareness among female students and to motivate them to invest their time in ways that enhance both their academic and personal growth, ultimately improving their overall University experience and upgrading their skills for future success.
