Under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine and under the supervision of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the Department of Dormitory Affairs, in cooperation with the Diwan Affairs Department, organized a specialized training course titled “Safety Procedures and the Role of Civil Defense in Enhancing Preventive Awareness and Emergency Response.” The course was attended by a number of university staff members and female students residing in the university dormitories.

The training covered several key topics related to public safety procedures, accident prevention methods, and effective response mechanisms in emergency situations. It aimed to enhance participants’ preventive awareness and improve their readiness to deal with various emergencies in accordance with approved civil defense and public safety regulations and guidelines.

This course forms part of the awareness and training programs regularly implemented by Al-Zahraa University for Women as part of its commitment to providing a safe academic environment and developing the professional and awareness-based capacities of its staff and students. These efforts contribute to strengthening a culture of safety and institutional responsibility across the university community.
