Al-Zahraa University for Women welcomed a delegation from the Health and Medical Education Authority at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, headed by Dr. Haider Al-’Abidi, Chief Executive Officer, alongside Dr. Shatha Al-‘Awadi, Director of Al-Sibtain Academy for Autism and Developmental Disorders, and Dr. Osama Al-Sa’adi, Director of Al-Sibtain Foundation for Psychiatry and Community Rehabilitation.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Jaddoa, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

During the tour, the delegation was briefed on the modern programmes adopted by the University to strengthen practical education and develop female students’ skills in line with labour-market requirements and evolving needs. The delegation also reviewed the advanced facilities provided by the University, including its infrastructure and scientific laboratories equipped with the latest devices and technologies, reflecting the University’s commitment to providing a rigorous educational environment aligned with the latest scientific developments.

Dr. Al-’Abidi highlighted the importance of the University’s graduates as a key source of qualified personnel for health institutions, through the preparation of specialised cadres capable of meeting the needs of the health sector to a high standard of efficiency.

It's worth noting that the visit forms part of efforts to strengthen scientific partnerships and cooperation between the University and the health sector, represented by the Health and Medical Education Authority at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine as a leading institution in serving society. It also reinforces the University’s role in preparing distinguished graduates who contribute to the delivery of healthcare and medical services in practical and applied settings, particularly in hospitals.
