Following the inauguration of Art Education Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women, the department unveiled its first inaugural artwork, an evocative painting of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (PBUH), revered as the Lady of the Worlds. Additionally, the unveiling ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, along with Assistants of the University President, Deans of Faculties, numerous Academic staff, and female students.

This artwork, created by Dr. Awni Al-Rubaie, the Head of Art Education Department in cooperation with Dr. Asaad Yahya, embodies deep artistic expressions of sanctity and spiritual elevation, reflecting the esteemed figure of Lady Al-Zahraa (PBUH). Furthermore, as the department’s first creative output, the piece serves as a symbol of the University’s cultural and spiritual identity and reflects its pedagogical and intellectual mission.

This painting signifies a meaningful beginning for the department, intending to promote art as a crucial medium for cultural and emotional development. It further underscores the department’s commitment to nurturing artistic appreciation among female students while upholding the University’s educational and cultural values through creative expression.
