As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing scientific research and enhancing academic skills, Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Research, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific workshop titled “How to Write a Research Paper.” The event was held under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and supervised by the Center’s Director, Prof. Dr. Luma Majeed Ahmed.
The workshop was led by Prof. Dr. Ali Jaafar Mahdi Al-Husseini, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Prof. Dr. Luma Majeed Ahmed, Director of the Research Center, and Assistant Lecturer Radwan Adnan Dakhel from the College of Engineering and Information Technology.
Key topics covered during the session included defining and formulating research ideas, collecting and analyzing relevant sources in light of previous studies, writing the research methodology, and selecting appropriate methods to validate results—all aimed at producing academically rigorous research that meets scholarly publication standards.
This workshop is part of a broader series of training programs launched by the Research Center to build research capacity among faculty and students, and to foster a strong culture of academic writing and scientific publishing across various disciplines.
