In the line of advance Diplomatic academic relationships, Al-Zahraa University for Women received a Letter of appreciation and appreciation from The Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Baghdad, where the Finnish Ambassador to Iraq, Ms. "Anno Sarila", expressed her gratitude to the University for its fruitful cooperation and warm reception during her official visit to the holy city of Karbala last month.
The Embassy highlighted in its official letter, for professional and higher effectiveness that the University showed in organizing the visit, emphasized that the services performed played a big role in the success of the events and meetings that took place on the sidelines of the visit.
The Ambassador praised on the leader role played by Prof. Dr. Zainab All-Mullah Al-Sultani, The President of the University in leading the institution, appreciating her efforts in establishing the principles of scientific cooperation and strengthening the ties of international partnership, additionally to her leadership of an important institution in Iraq that plays a pivotal role for women in future leadership roles in various sectors, confirming that these efforts represent a significant step towards establishing effective and fruitful educational partnerships between the both sides.
The Embassy repeated its commitment to enhancing academic and scientific cooperation with the University, focusing on the significant importance of strengthening the knowledge partnership and expanding the horizons of communication and exchange in educational and research fields. These activities enhance the achievement of common goals and contribute to establishing effective communication relations between the educational institutions in the two countries.
This commendation came as a culmination of the university's journey in building bridges of international cooperation and enhancing its academic standing on a global level, as well as solidifying its presence in scientific and diplomatic forums by embracing global experiences and adopting quality standards in higher education.
