Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mullah Al-Sultani, the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, welcomed a delegation from the Women's Library Unit of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs in Imam Ali Holy Shrine, chaired by Miss Sarah Hammoud Al-Shjeri.
This visit came within the framework of a memorandum of scientific cooperation aimed at exchanging experiences and benefiting from the distinguished experience of the central library, which ranked first among public and private universities for the academic year 2023-2024.
Through the visit, the delegation was briefed on the administrative and technical working mechanisms followed in the central library and learned about the modern technologies and programs used for cataloging and classifying resources.
The latest scientific releases were reviewed and the global standards used in the organization and documentation of informational resources were discussed.
This visit confirms the importance of scientific and cultural cooperation between academic and religious institutions, contributing to the development of the library's performance and improving the role of women's libraries in serving scientific research and knowledge. It also aims to enrich the academic and cultural community with opportunities for development and advancement in various scientific and practical fields.
