The Electronic Computing Department, in cooperation with the Registration Department, organised a specialised workshop entitled “Electronic Queuing System”. The workshop was delivered by Programmer Muntadhar Ghani Abd Al-Amir from the Systems Division at the Department. Furthermore, the said event comes as part and parcel of its ongoing efforts to develop its administrative and service systems.
The workshop highlighted the system’s operational mechanism and the technical and administrative procedures underpinning it, demonstrating its importance in organising the flow of visitors and managing queues in a systematic manner. This facilitates the completion of transactions, reduces the time and effort required, helps alleviate administrative congestion, and promotes greater efficiency in service delivery.
The workshop also provided a detailed explanation of the system’s features and technical capabilities, as well as the opportunities for adapting it to the specific requirements of educational institutions, particularly during the registration period, which typically witnesses a high influx of female students.
Through such initiatives, the University affirms its ongoing commitment to supporting technological initiatives and adopting digital projects that contribute to the development of its academic and administrative environment. These efforts enhance the quality of services provided and strengthen the University’s position within Iraq’s higher education system.
