The Continuing Education Centre, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication, organised a workshop entitled “Media Marketing Skills in the Digital Age for Educational Institutions”. Additionally, the said event was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, and was delivered by Prof. Dr. Haider Shallal Mut'ab. Furthermore, the workshop was held as part and parcel of the University’s commitment to advancing academic and digital knowledge.
The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of media marketing strategies, with a focus on the effective use of digital platforms and enhancing participants’ skills in developing accurate media content tailored to target audiences. This contributes to improving content quality, strengthening the impact of media messages, and enhancing the effectiveness of digital communication.
The workshop also addressed the latest concepts in digital marketing, focusing on the tools and technologies adopted in this field, in addition to discussing innovative approaches to using digital platforms in support of contemporary communication strategies. It further highlighted the pivotal role of digital media in strengthening the presence of academic institutions, supporting their educational and research activities, and communicating their mission to the wider community through more effective and far-reaching means.
Through organising such workshops, Al-Zahraa University for Women affirms its ongoing commitment to developing the academic and media skills of its staff and fostering a culture of scientific research and effective digital communication. This reflects the University’s dedication to providing an advanced educational environment that empowers participants to address the challenges of the digital age and contribute actively to community service and knowledge creation.
