Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein and under the supervision of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, the Women’s Empowerment Division, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, held a seminar entitled (Hormonal and histological changes in women and their impact on obesity), presented by Dr. Rafah Hadi Latif, in which she explained the female system and the functioning of its organs and parts. The main ones, including the uterus, the ovary, and the hormones that are secreted from the pituitary gland, and their connection and synchronization in working with the hormones that are secreted from the ovary, and how tissue changes occur, whether in the ovary in the form of phases, as well as tissue changes in the uterus, and how ovulation, pregnancy, and implantation of the embryo in the uterine lining occur, in addition to explaining all these changes and connections to the students. And the effects that occur so that female students know what happens to when they feel pain and learn prevention methods to avoid all conditions that increase and aggravate the condition.
