The Department of Arabic Language / College of Education at Al-Zahraa University for Women held a scientific workshop entitled: (Spelling Rules and Punctuation Marks), presented by the teacher, M. Dr. Neba of Saeed Abed, in one of the halls of the department. The students of the Arabic Language Department attended the workshop.
The workshop aims to develop the ability of writing according to correct spelling rules and to avoid mistakes resulting from wrong writing. Then, punctuation marks and their uses in writing were presented in the workshop. If the grammatical rules are the means to correct writing in parsing, then spelling is a means to it from the written form fully.
