Several lecturers at Al-Zahraa University for Women organized a field visit to a nursing home for elderly women in the city of Karbala as an exceptional humanitarian initiative conducted by the University’s Mathematics Department/Faculty of Education. This visit comes within a slew of similar initiatives organized by the Mathematics Department in the Faculty of Education for different societal groups aiming to provide health and medical care to them. Moreover, the initiative is also meant to encourage public support and extend a helping hand to these groups.
