As part and parcel of a humanitarian program covering several social groups, the Mathematics Department at the Faculty of Education organised an inspection visit to Sayyida Ruqayya Primary School for Girls and Sayyid Ali Al-Asghar Primary School for Boys, both affiliated with Imam Al-Ridha Foundation for Orphans.
The delegation included the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education, and the Head, faculty members, and female Mathematics Department students as part of the Department’s annual plan of activities and moral initiatives.
The visit commenced with the presenting of Eid al-Fitr gifts to first- and second-grade pupils, both male and female, at the two schools. The initiative aimed to inspire the children to maintain hope and strive for success, while bringing joy and happiness to faces marked by difficult childhoods. Additionally, this activity reflects the Department’s commitment to community service, designed to instill in female students the values of compassion, humanity, and generosity.
