Assistant Lecturer Nabaa Issa Kadhim, a faculty member in the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by receiving the International Creativity Medal during her participation in the Seventh International Scientific Conference on Creativity and Innovation, held in Baghdad under the patronage of the Prime Minister and under the slogan “Through Creativity, We Rise Toward the Peaks.”
Her scientific participation included presenting her book entitled “English Texts in Special Education,” which aims to develop specialized linguistic skills in the field of special education in line with the requirements of modern educational development, while also enhancing the academic and practical aspects of this important specialization. This participation resulted in her receiving the International Creativity Medal, in addition to a certificate of appreciation, in recognition of her scientific efforts and active contribution to the success of the conference.
This achievement represents a valuable addition to the academic journey of the College of Education, especially as the conference was held in cooperation with the Department of Research and Development, the University of Hilla, the University of Kut, and Al-Mashriq University, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from various scientific institutions. It reflects the prominent role of the college’s faculty members in supporting scientific research and advancing the educational reality in Iraq.
