Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, the Department of English, one of the departments of the College of Education at Al-Zahraa University, organized a recreational trip for the children of the orphanage on December 10, 2023, at Sayyid al-Awsiyaa City.
The trip included a variety of activities aimed at bringing joy to the children and fulfilling their wishes. The children were welcomed at 10:00 a.m. with flowers, followed by the narration of a short story entitled “A Biscuit Box” presented by student Noor Diaa. Afterwards, the children performed the chant “Ya Mahdi” in the city’s gardens.
Several students then painted cartoon characters on the children’s faces before starting a “Treasure Hunt” activity. This was followed by a lunch meal and concluded with a competition that awarded numerous prizes to the winners.
The children were farewelled around 2:00 p.m. with different gifts distributed to them, leaving bright smiles drawn on their innocent faces.
