The Department of English Language/Faculty of Education at Al-Zahraa University organised a scientific debate between its female students and female students from the Universities of Kufa and Babylon. The competition concluded with Al-Zahraa University winning first place, followed by the University of Kufa in second place, and the University of Babylon in third. The said event was under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and with the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, the Dean of the Faculty of Education,
The debate was conducted through a series of timed questions posed to the female students, covering the following subjects: Phonetics (second year), Linguistics (third and fourth year), Grammar (second year), and Drama (third and fourth year). The competition was characterised by impartiality, with the organising committee from Al-Zahraa University and committee members drawn from the participating universities.
At the conclusion of the event, all participating female students from the three universities were honoured, with a special award presented to the winning University.
