In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the implementation of joint examinations among universities, the Faculty of Education at Al-Zahraa University paid an official visit to the Faculty of Education at the University of Karbala.

The delegation was headed by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, accompanied by the Heads of Departments and several faculty members from the Departments of English and Arabic Languages. They were received by Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala, along with his academic and administrative assistants.

The discussions centred on organising a joint monthly examination between Al-Zahraa University for Women, the University of Karbala, and Al-Hilla University College.

During a meeting at the University of Karbala with representatives of the aforementioned universities, it was agreed to conduct a joint monthly examination for students beyond the first stage in the Departments of English and Arabic Languages. Besides, special committees will be formed across the three universities to prepare the examination questions and oversee the marking process.

This agreement is expected to strengthen academic ties, foster the exchange of expertise and ideas, and ultimately raise students’ academic standards across the participating universities.
