Under the auspices by Zainab Al-Mullah Al-Sultani the president of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and supervision by Prof. Dr. Iman Samer Bahia the Dean of the Education Faculty, the Special Education Department chaired by Lect. Dr. Nisreen Al-Jelawi and Faculty members and with a number of female students conducted a scientific visit to Noor Imam Hussein Institution for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The meeting was held with Sir Aamer Al-Shemari the director of the Institution, also reviewed the classrooms and halls where student activities take place. The delegation was also informed about (the Braille) method used for teaching students.
The director of the institution welcomed this visit and requested from the delegation to repeat these visits in order for the female students of the mentioned department to benefit, as they are the future teachers and trainers.
It was also requested from the delegation to host their students at Al-Zahraa University, serving as a university experience to encourage them to join the university in the future.
