Under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication, organized a scientific workshop titled:

“The Impact of Alternative Media and Effective Communication on Supporting the University Work Environment.”

The workshop was presented by Asst. Lect.  Murtadha Adel Mohammed, who discussed the growing role of alternative media in strengthening engagement within academic institutions. He reviewed key tools and platforms that can be employed to communicate university initiatives and information in innovative and effective ways.

The session also included discussions on mechanisms for enhancing the university’s media presence through practical examples of successful media campaigns. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of effective communication skills in improving the work environment, strengthening coordination among administrative and academic staff and students, ensuring information is delivered clearly and efficiently, and fostering constructive interaction across the university.

This workshop reflects Al-Zahraa University for Women’s commitment to keeping pace with digital transformations and adopting advanced media practices that enhance its institutional presence. It also demonstrates the university’s dedication to developing communication competencies within the academic environment, creating a space that supports constructive engagement, elevates professional performance, and advances the university’s strategic vision for a more effective and stable educational environment.
