Under the auspices of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla,
the college, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, organized a training workshop titled: “Using Microsoft Applications.”
The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Zubaida Saleem Hassan, the assistant of the Department of Communications and Mobile Computing at the university.
The workshop adopted a hands-on, practical approach that closely engaged the students. They learned how to use Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in ways that help them prepare their academic reports and presentations more easily and with greater confidence.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, who reaffirmed her support for any activity that develops students’ skills and empowers them to use technology as a tool of strength. A number of faculty and administrative staff also participated, along with students from various departments of the college.
This workshop reflects the ongoing mission of the College of Engineering and Information Technology to build students’ capabilities and open new spaces for professional academic development.
