The Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, Department of Physiotherapy Technologies organised a scientific workshop entitled “Fundamentals of Manual Therapy”. The said event was under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the President of the University, in collaboration with the Career Services Division and the Centre for Continuing Education.

The workshop was led by Asst. Lect. Marjan Hassan Al-Subh, who presented key scientific and practical topics in this field.  Additionally, the workshop aimed to strengthen female students’ understanding of the fundamental principles of assessing musculoskeletal conditions and the manual intervention techniques used to improve mobility and alleviate pain.

It bears noting that this workshop forms part of the University’s interest in developing the scientific and practical competencies of its female students and graduates, enhancing their professional skills, and preparing them comprehensively for labour-market requirements. It also supports their educational and professional advancement in the field of physiotherapy.
