College of Engineering Honors Top Students and Welcomes New Students of Cybersecurity and Telecommunications Departments

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaida Al-Mulla, the Departments of Cybersecurity and Telecommunications and Mobile Computing organized a ceremony to honor the top three students across all academic stages. The event was held in the presence of the Dean, a number of department heads, and academic staff, in recognition of the students’ academic excellence and to encourage continued scholarly achievement.

During the ceremony, the Dean emphasized the College’s commitment to supporting outstanding students and creating a stimulating learning environment. She praised the efforts that reflect the high level of dedication and seriousness among students, as well as the role of academic departments in monitoring student performance.

The event also included a welcoming segment for first-year students in both departments, during which the academic specializations and study pathways were introduced. The importance of diligence and perseverance was highlighted, aiming to help students integrate into university life and build a successful academic journey.
