Engineering College Concludes Digital Architecture Week

Under the auspices of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, the Departments of Architecture Engineering and Artificial Intelligence concluded the activities of the “Digital Architecture and Smart Programming Week.”

The program was held in Al-Sadiqa Hall at the College of Engineering and Information Technology over five consecutive days, forming a full academic week. It covered several key topics, including:
“Introduction to Digital Architecture,” “Tools and Techniques of Digital Architecture,” “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Architecture Engineering,” “Challenges and Future Prospects of Digital Architecture,” “Digital Programming in Buildings,” and “Practical Applications of Digital Architecture.”

The lectures were delivered by:
Assistant Professor Dr. Hiba Jabbar Al-Aqabi, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Department and Acting Head of the Architecture Engineering Department;
Assistant Lecturer Mayson Safi Yasser, Rapporteur of the Architecture Engineering Department;
and Assistant Lecturer Sara Hassan Hadi, faculty member in the Architecture Engineering Department.

The final lecture, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mayson Safi Yasser, focused on the importance of practical applications of digital architecture in bringing about fundamental changes in how buildings are designed and operated, representing a step toward a more sustainable and efficient future.
